Lot’s of congregating is going on!!!
As this is being written, the large red umbrellas of Music Together are circled on the south lawn of the church and tiny young ones and their parents are dancing, banging sticks, and singing their hearts out.
This past Wednesday, the Congregation P’nai Or, (a Jewish Renewal Congregation), spent much of the day in worship, celebrating Yom Kippur in our sanctuary, as they have done for well over a decade. It was a gift to hear joyful praying, singing, and chanting emanating throughout the building in the middle of the day!
On Tuesday evenings this fall, we are hosting the National Alliance for Mental Illness program, Family to Family, supporting and resourcing loved ones of people who struggle with mental illness.
Last Sunday in our service of Animal Blessing we were thrilled and uplifted; welcoming a host of creatures great and small. We had many canine participants and the 4-H youth group from Westmoor Park graced us with sheep, goats, bunnies, rats, and a “most dignified” llama.
Each Sunday we once again gather in person at 10AM for our time of worship and fellowship. And at the same time and anytime thereafter, our services are offered online via Facebook. No need to be on Facebook to participate in our celebrations. Simply log on to https://www.facebook.com/FlaggRoadUCC
There’s a whole lot of congregating going on!
