Mark received his Bachelor’s Degree from Bates College and after graduate study at Princeton Theological School and Hartford Seminary, Mark received his Master of Divinity from Yale University. Mark lives in Canton with his wife Susan. They have three grown children and six grandchildren.
Mark is active in mission work including hands on service as well as engaging transformative systemic change. He is past president and continues on the board of the Christian Activities Council (now the Center for Leadership and Justice) and his hands-on efforts include numerous mission trips and volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and Rebuilding Together Hartford.
Rebecca is responsible for coordinating the music for each service, conducting the choir, inviting guest musicians to perform, and providing solo music and accompaniment on organ and piano. The music at Flagg Road ranges from traditional works by Buxtehude and Bach to contemporary service music by composers such as Mark Hayes and John Rutter.
